Another rough test sequence

Put this together from a couple shots that I did this week. It's nice doing shots in order sometimes because it really helps to give me a sense of the timing, seeing what works and what doesn't. Even in as rough a stage as it's in now, it's pretty neat getting a glimpse of my film.

*edit* Oh, and you may want to go directly to youtube and watch it. For some reason blogger cuts off part of the video when it's displayed on the page.

  1. Nice work, Tyler!

You may want the villain to walk into the second shot. (The cut is a little awkward.) There is a slight continuity issue from the CU of him holding the record to the shot of it on the turntable. I recommend reversing the shot of him picking up the record (after he holds it), and show him putting it down (then wait a beat) before we see it on the turntable. The timing of him placing his finger on the record is PERFECT! Nice work!

  2. I think it's such a great character approach to have him with his hands behind his back..that's a lot of fun.
    Looking good Tyler!
