Here I have a few backgrounds for the opening act. Hopefully this will give you an idea of the overall look of the world of my story. I'll try to post some rough animations later as well.
I like the hand-drawn quality of the drawings. I do suggest making sure the pictures line up- otherwise it's a bit distracting. The perspective is a little off- which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but in this case it does draw attention to itself. I think you can keep the rough stylized quality of the drawings and still maintain the perspective. I love the line quality and the way the color in the individual pictures stand out. May want to add a little depth to the BG.
I like the painterly look that you've got going on! I also like the idea of the slightly wonky perspective, but I'd have to see the character moving around in the space to see if it works or not.
